Going into IVF we initially leaned toward genetic testing because a prior miscarriage was so traumatic. We ended up declining PGT-A for our first three IVF cycles. I have DOR and we get relatively few embryos (0-3/retrieval), and the chance, however low, of misidentifying and discarding a viable embryo wasn’t worth it.

Believe me when I say you'll be happy to continue when the transfer is successful. It's so worth it. Also, research shows that IVF is more successful when progesterone is given IM shot daily or bid vs not giving at all or rotating every other day with suppositories. Obviously it does not guarantee positive, but data always makes me feel better.I am supposed to take 20mg per day for 4 days and then take 10mg per day until I get a positive beta (if I get one tbh) but all the research I have seen say 6-12 weeks is best so I am spiraling and wondering if I should push back on this.
