We are open to all vehicle sizes on and off the roads. We currently have 4-6 inches of snow off the roads with some drifts that are about 12".Ice conditions have improved well enough that half ton truck traffic is now allowed in most areas of Leech Lake. The only exception is in areas of Walker Bay where reports of 9-10 inches are still being found. Main Lake - The Pine Point and Grand View area currently has a consistent 13-15 inches of ice.Reports coming from Traders Bay, Stoney Point and the Whipholt area are reporting a bit better ice conditions in the 12-15 inch range. Walker Bay ice reports still range from 6-11 inches so only atv and side by side traffic is advised at this time.
