Gsg firefly problems

GSG Firefly first time out. Picked up the Firefly from Brownells in November on a sale for $160. Took it to the range for the first time today. I found my thumb interfered with the slide lock on last round and had to move it a little out to avoid negating the feature. Once I repositioned my thumb I didn't have that issue any longer.

Not familiar with the Firefly but, if it is a rebranded Mosquito, then run (don't walk) away from that one. IMHO the problem with all of these 22LR combat style look-alikes is that they all suffer from 1 or 2, or both problems.Maybe it'll smooth out with some use. My GSG seems to have one nagging problem, failure to go into battery. I've checked and what is holding it open, that fraction of an inch, is the extractor. It hits the face of the extractor slot, and stops the slide just short of battery. If I just put my thumb on back of slide it goes into place easily.
