Browning a5 problems

I have a 1967 browning A5 that has a feeding problem. It is trying to feed 2 shells at a time. One is in the chamber and the next one gets stuck in the action. I have stripped it completely and given it a good clean. Any thoughts on how to fix this problem would be appreciated. Regards. Hilux. Like. Sort by Oldest first.

As was mentioned above, there's rarely a reason to totally disassemble an auto-5. It's easy to take the stock off to get to the return spring, and trigger assembly out, and barrel off, and recoil spring assembly. Mine does like the Federals and reloads at a solid 1200 fps. Shot it for a year as is, and shot it extremely well one of the best handling guns I own. Even though it is not a clays gun at 6 lbs. handles fantastic and recoil with 1 oz. loads is almost non existent.
